Reawakening feminine sparkle

Hello lovely, just wanted to share a pic of my exquisite Saturday. As many of you know, I have decided to make more time to pursue my creative passions. It’s been years since I meandered around vintage clothes shops. I felt like I was going to pop with excitement yesterday when I found the most amazing treasure in a little back street vintage emporium in town.

I spent hours browsing. You would’ve loved this place. It was a little piece of girl heaven.

As I mentioned to you before, I’m collecting for my little Etsy.com project. Within an hour of browsing, I’d purchased 3 pieces and OMG, they are so gorgeous!

My first problem re-selling online is that I really want to keep everything that I’ve  just bought! Aargh!

In my collection is a stunning 1950′s Cotton Kimono, an adorable Edwardian knee length silk ivory skirt with underskirt, and an extremely elegant 1940′s pink crepe de chine nightie…

I’m going to ask her loveless Liberty (my daughter) to model them, so that I can show them to you. I need you to see just how adorable they are – watch this space.

As an aside, something happened to me yesterday. When I left the shop, I felt different. I realised that the re-connection to my inner world of creativity is bringing forth a little part of me that’s been sleeping for a while.

In this lovely little shop a deeply creative, feminine expression of my being was mirrored in the clothes that I chose. I’m so excited about re-discovering even more…
